POKéMON PLATNIUM!!!
Just updating with a small bit of news that the official Japanese Pokemon site (www.pokemon.co.jp) has updated with the official confirmation of the third game in the Shinou/Sinnoh region. As is already known, Giratina is the official Pokemon mascot for this version and plays a very important part in the story just as Rayquaza did in Emerald. The game is expected to be released in September of 2008.
Arceus was a hit!
Yesterday was the first and quite possibly the last day you could obtain the legendary Pokemon, Arceus, at participating events across the world. Hopefully you managed to get one of your very own so you can brag about it to your friends! If you didn't pick one up, there's always next year.
Additionally, the 13th Pokemon Movie has been announced in Japan today. Details are very sketchy about it, but it supposedly features the legendary Pokemon, Arceus, as well as Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Mew and Mewtwo are also rumored to make an appearance, as well as three new mystery Pokemon that are going to be in the next Pokemon generation!
One of the mystery Pokemon to appear is "Antric" ( in Japanese), and it is said to be a Bug/Electric type. Guessing from the name, I'd say it's probably going to look like an ant of some sort. Any details on the other two Pokemon are still a mystery, although I have heard that there will be over 600 total Pokemon once the fifth generation games hit the shelves in Japan in late 2011.
The next Pokemon TCG set, Majestic Dawn (to be released in late May), is going to be the last Pokemon TCG set that will be released for the Pokemon TCG. Instead, players are encouraged to get familiar and learn to play the exciting new Pokemon Trading Figure Game instead. Tournaments for it begin in September, after the final Pokemon TCG World Championship.
Well, I think that's all for today's news updates! Phew, so much news on such a plain, ordinary day with nothing going on in it, right? Have a nice April 1st!

The long-awaited next game in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series has been released in Japan. Yes, that's right, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time Exploration Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Space Exploration Team!
The two games feature at least 490 Pokemon in them, and they feature an entirely new storyline. It is not a direct sequel from the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team), but it does follow the same style of gameplay and premise.

Japanese Psyduck!!!-
Trade Pokémon Across the Ocean with the Creators of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl!
Have you been enjoying Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl? Have you been trading Pokémon with your friends? Great! But have you tried trading Pokémon with people from around the world on the Global Trade Station (GTS)? Well, here's your chance to get a Pokémon straight from Japan! The name is in Japanese, the Pokédex is in Japanese, the Pokémon is truly from Japan! But it's not just from anyone in Japan…
Below are three Japanese Trainers who love Pokémon as much as you! But they aren't just fans of Pokémon, they actually work at GAMEFREAK, inc. in Japan and created Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl! You might have heard of them…
They are:
Junichi Masuda (Director of GAMEFREAK, inc.) Trainer name: ID: 05458 View Interview Video
Ken Sugimori (Art Director of GAMEFREAK, inc.) Trainer name: ID: 38793
Shigeki Morimoto (Battle Director of GAMEFREAK, inc.) Trainer name: ID: 53437
They are looking to trade their Japanese Psyduck for your American Ponyta! Make sure to log in to the GTS on August 19th through the 23rd, and then August 26th through the 30th (US time) and search for their Pokémon and take part in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to trade Pokémon with the creators of the Pokémon games!
Trading conditions Junichi, Ken, and Shigeki are offering up their Psyducks for your Ponytas on the GTS. The details of their Psyducks are:
Pokémon name: Psyduck
Gender: No preference
Level: No preference
How to participate
1. Deposit your Ponyta to the GTS during the trading period (the GTS is in Jubilife city). On the GTS, deposit Ponyta, then choose Psyduck as the Pokémon you are seeking, then choose no preference for gender and level! * Note that you cannot choose to seek a Psyduck if it is not registered in your Pokédex!
2. Now sit back and wait to see if the trade will be successful! 90 Psyducks (30 from each) will be traded on the GTS in 10 days, so there are plenty of chances for you to get one of their Pokémon!
Trading period (US time) August 19th (Sunday) through August 23rd (Thursday) August 26th (Sunday) through August 30th (Thursday)
Note: The GTS is connected to everyone in the world. Your trade might be successful with people other than Junichi, Ken, or Shigeki. Also, not every trade will end successfully. If the trade is unsuccessful, you can choose "no preference" under "gender" and search again, or come back after a little while to check the GTS again.

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Walkthrough
We have found an RSE Walkthrough written by Encyclopika at http://www.freewebs.com/pikachurated/ , but it is somewhat Japanese and unfinished. Sorry for the inconvienice but, we cannot completely do this as we cannot copy everything at once seeing as it is not all on one page.
Search Boxes
As you may have noticed, a search bar has been added to PokéGuide. If you see a link saying "repeat the search with the omitted results included", you have to click it to see the results. When searching for Pokémon, just write down or remember the nuber of the Pokémon (found in description under link) and then click on the link and scroll down to it.
